Thanks Dad...
I have been a member of AAA on and off for the past several years. I am very disappointed that they placed me in auto renew without my permission and without contacting me prior. Last year I signed up for AAA prior to going on a long trip. My coverage was set to expire on May 15, 2017; however on April 17, 2017 a charge came through my bank account for $127.00 from AAA. This amount was $26.00 more than the previous year. I phoned AAA on April 19 and spoke with Robert. He apologized and told me he would rush the credit and it would take 3-5 days. Robert was very professional on the phone and I appreciated his customer service. On April 26, still no credit so I phoned back to speak with a supervisor, Linda ID#66216, who was extremely rude. She told me they were BEHIND in processing their refunds and it would be 2 - 3 weeks. The interesting thing here is they were 4 weeks ahead in taking my payment out. hmmm ----I find this totally unacceptable as they did not have my permission to auto renew my policy. I never received anything by mail or email explaining that they were going to withdraw funds from my account and the reason for the extra $26.00. I explained to the supervisor that I do not and have not ever auto renewed anything. I call up each year that I want service and pay at that time. Also, the policy did not expire until May 15 so there was no need for the charge to be done April 17. I also asked the supervisor, Linda on several occasions how to go about placing a complaint. She kept avoiding my question and telling me to contact the Naples office. After rewording my question several times, I finally got an address out of her regarding where to send a complaint. I found her customer service skills to be horrific. AAA has had many wonderful people in their organization, but Linda is not one of them. I will still continue to use AAA service as I have had many great experiences with the service, however, I will go into the office to sign up each year so they no longer have a debit card on file from calling to sign up. I can understand miscommunication on the part of them placing me on auto renew; however, I cannot understand complete rudeness on the part of a supervisor.
Went the Naples location on Airportpooling Rd. To discuss a bill that keeps arriving that I paid in April of 2017 by credit card and also got maps later that week. I have been a long time member will be looking for another company that doesn't take your money and claim they never got it robbed without a gun. Stay away from these crooks.
Only place one can get international drivers license. Too bad, old staff, illogical rules, rude old ladies!
We are thankful to Dad for all of the lessons that he taught us growing up, including passing on the peace of mind of having a AAA Family Membership.
Relied on their auto repair recommendation. Had a brake repair done at their recommended shop and then after getting it back lost the brakes because of a brake fluid leak. Repair shop said not their fault. Called AAA to have it towed to another repair shop (taking more care this time on where) and told AAA not to use the current shop to tow it (AAA doubles down on this repair place for towing too). AAA didn't honor my request and instead gave it to the tow company I explicitly said not to give it to. Never received the call I was supposed to get before pickup and then then it took 1 hour for the car to travel 11 miles to the next shop. AAA accepted no responsibility for the poor referral, the mess up on the tow and the hour and a half I spent on the phone with them trying to fix all this. I am probably the last to figure it out but AAA seems like they are about to go out of business or maybe they get their customer service training from the same people who train Comcast? Or both.
Never leave home without it. I've been a member for 41 years. In 1976 my Dad started buying AAA memberships for each one of us, his children, as a Christmas gift every year. Even the younger ones that didn't drive, giving him the peace of mind of knowing that each of his children had a AAA card in their wallets.
