I visited Orchard on their opening day in February 2017. The store layout was nice and easy to navigate through and they have a good selection of hardware and household items such as tools, paint and outside decor. I'm assuming since it was their very first day of business, all of the employees were very excited but there's also a downside to that. I discovered that while walking through the store, a lot of the employees were overly aggressive with their greetings and strong persistence in trying to assist customers who just wanted to browse. Several times I had to just bluntly say "No, I do not need help" and had to do this to several different employees. Hopefully in the coming weeks when the hype comes down, the employees will relax a little bit.
This is a pleasant help oriented hardware store. You walk in and then are immediately asked if you need help. You are not only pointed in the right direction but usually escorted to whatever you need. Can't comment about prices since I don't compare when shopping small ticket items. A complimentary green apple is included in your purchase. Only picayune negatives are: 1)Not convenient to approach on US 41 Southbound and 2)Apparently owned by Lowes. (Not really a negative but makes me wonder why can't Lowes be that user friendly?) Regardless, a nice place to buy your hardware.
Great Customer Service, specialty items, no long lines, we found everything we were looking for and more! Small Town feel. We are there every weekend for all our project needs. Good bye Home Depot and Lowe's Hello Orchard.
Great hardware store and more. Glad we stopped in to check it out. This moved to top of the list for parts and repairs over Depot and Lowes.
This is what customer service is all about! Prices are low and they have amazing products you can't get anywhere else like this Weather Wash Stains. This stuff turns raw wood into barn wood!!!
