Very very very poor management/customer service. Placed a $5,000 online order for ceiling tile. I'm in Key West, and this store was the closest I could get my order without a two week wait time for delivery. Called yesterday to confirm my order was in and they stated it was. Took the time to drive the 5+ hours only to wait in a line for ever before receiving help. Once we got help, the Mexican lady helping us at the customer service couldn't figure out how to work the system to get to the needed page to see our order. Corrected her several times, in the process she yelled at me because I was over this imaginary line trying to see her computer screen as I was try to help her. Then she starts with and attitude and tells us the order is not in. Another person steps in and states that she's new but he's seeing. That the order is not in either. I tell them to look in the back bacuse it has to be there. Overall the Mexican lady developed an attitude and is very rude through out the rest of the transaction. Another man steps in and states he is the new store manager, his name was Ace, and asks what the problem was. So I told him. He states that he can see where the order is there and that they will print the receipt and have us sign paperwork at the prodesk. Fine. We go to the prodesk just to wait forever again. They print the paperwork I needed to sign, I ask for a receipt they tell me they can not print a receipt and that I'll need to go back to customer service. Which I know is a lie. We do this all the time and they never have a problem printing a Receipt. So I bring up what Ace told me. This guy says Ace is not a store manager and that he doesn't know what he is talking about and that no managers are on duty. Over all, a very disappointing trip here. Everyone was rude, not a single person New how to do their job and the attitudes we received from the employees was ridiculous. From now on I'll put all my special orders through Home Depot. Regional manager I hope you are reading this. Please retrain all your staff and clearly state all their job titles to them so they know what they can and can not do. I shouldn't have to be rude to recieve my $5,000 in product that was paid for in advance.
Do not buy appliances from Lowes!!! They had a company deliver my appliances, I had a Dewalt drill right next to the refrigerator where I was working with them cabinets, they stole it and now they are saying I'm a lier. Learn from my mistakes and go somewhere else, I spoke to the manager twice, all he says is he has nothing to do with it. They sold me the appliances and hired a delivery company and now they have nothing to do with it. Bad company
What a mess! Understaffed and disorganized, this is an incredibly frustrating shopping experience. I'll go to Ace on Marco and pay more, they have enough people working that you can get help and find what your looking for. The Lowe's employees I've dealt with are also knowledgeable and helpful, I just think the store is very poorly managed. Shelves are in disarray, even when the website says something is in stock, it can be difficult to find items. Sometimes they're still on the receiving dock, or somewhere where you wouldn't expect them to be. It seems there is always only one checkout open, and I've never seen the self checkout open in about three years. Plan on bringing a book or your cell phone to check email and keep yourself occupied trying to buy stuff. I was all set to buy a power washer and other items, would have been about $500 purchase. Got tired of waiting when there was some sort of issue with a customer in front of me, heaven forbid if there is a problem, it takes a rocket scientist and a long time for the poor checkout person to deal with it. Ended up buying everything on Amazon.
Adrian my representative was completely knowledgeable with all products I needed.. very positive.. polite and a joy to work with...thank you helping me redo kitchen and bath... Hattie
My experience at Lowe's is always, good but I have been making efforts for months to get part time employment at this very store. You need to make the process easier. John Truitt
