My dogs are with special conditions - one is paralyzed from disk disease recovered w neuro suegeon while the elderly 14.5 yr old with Cushings Disease recently injested high amounts of rat poison after finding it in the middle of the night had wandered off while I was sleeping over a friend's home with pet doors and access to an area unsupervised. I awoke to radioactive green fecal matter in quantities straight out rat poison. I rushed her to Dr. Oliver. 14.5 years old with poison gone through her system in large dose which will cause internal bleeding, edema in brain or other organ failure in kidneys, etc. They took me right away and flushed her system, ivs for days and catheter. Charcoal to coat her gastrointestinal tract etc. She is alive and a freakin miracle. Dr. Oliver still makes house calls from going there and missing him due to my being late. When I called him frantic with worry due to her head pressing, crying and toxicity at 2 am - he personally took my call and assisted me with how to help her, and followed up the next day assuring me she will be ok and what I can do for her moving forward. She is alive and I am blessed for Dr. Oliver taking care of her 24/7 at a critical time. Always accommodates. I want my pet to live and she is. When her time, due to natural causes not this mishap. Thank you Dr. Oliver and staff for what tou did for Charity and me to keep on living and loving her a while longer. We are together and my day off this having now been day 4.5 days since and so thankful. Life isn't perfect, complications happen but we are blessed. Highly recommend. Xoxo.
Dirty front office horrible customer service. The place has went down hill fast. Asked them to send my dogs records via email so I could give them to a boarding house. They said it would be no problem I called back and gave them my email ( upon request) 3 times. I still did not receive the documents. I eventually had to drive to the office and pick them up myself 7 hrs later. My trip got delayed and my primary veterinarian changed.
I've been taking my dog to see Dr Oliver for the past 10years. He's super kind and knowledgeable. The staff is great. Recently my dog had a tumor and it was very tricky to treat, but Dr Oliver helped us throughout the process and got my dog recovered! I can always count on Dr Oliver for anything!
When the vet came back in the room he said our dog had died in the process of having the enema. We were charged for the office visit that killed our dog and then charged a disposal fee because he said it was illegal to bury a pet in Florida. We went for a simple office visit and left with an exhorbitant bill and an empty collar and leash. We were too shocked and devastated to think clearly. I still wonder everyday if maybe he is still alive and just sold to another owner because he was a healthy 4 year old boy. Think twice before using this vet.
DO NOT GO TO THIS VET EVER... THE PLACE IS A TOTAL DISASTER I HAD MY DOG NEUTERED BY THEM AND THEY DID AN AWFUL JOB... DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME AN E-COLLAR THEY HAD TO RESTITCH EVERYTHING AGAIN... PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS THERE, NASTY AND THE PEOPLE ARE VERY RUDE
We took our yorkie in to get x-rays on his leg and the vet said he was impacted and needed an enema. We were shocked but said to go ahead and do it if that's what he thought was causing the limping.
