Great, well-built boardwalk for walks and biking during the day. Parking is available through the zoo parking lot - head east through the chain-link gated area to a roundabout. Lighting has not returned in all areas post-Irma, so be sure to bring a flashlight if going for a nighttime stroll.
Great place for a casual walk/jog or being outdoors. Great boardwalk. A lot of native plant species to see. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Recommended.
This 2.2 mile trail with paved pathways and boardwalks is awesome! You can walk, jog, bike and even bring your dog to walk this beautiful trail. It's open from 7 a.m. (although sometimes 7:10 a.m. I have found) until 10 pm. at night. It has lights so it's a nice night walk! It's just beautiful.
