Great trail to stop, might take about 30 mins to walk to the end and backbut you definately want to take your time here to look out for wildlife.
Nice boardwalk but too buggy to see anything! We spent our time trying to chase away mosquitoes, despite having just applied bug spray! I'm sure it's very nice in drier weather, and not in summer!
A nature lover's dream. You are able to enjoy nature, untouched... and get up close with wild alligators, bald eagles, snakes and trees. The boardwalk features swampy views in all directions. There's a short dirt path you must walk after you park your car.... and before reaching the boardwalk. BE AWARE that there are alligators the bask in the sun on those paths and they slide in and out of the swamp. You are asked to respect their space and proceed at your own risk of course. There are signs along the way to pint out certain trees and plants and also lots of great photo opportunities.
