So many favorites. Roast beef, catfish, meatloaf, grilled or fried chicken with many vegetables to choose from. The turnip greens and fried okra are always ordered by someone at our table.
Our waitress was great and I enjoyed shopping in the store. The food wasn't up to the quality I expected from Cracker Barrel. Eggs, grits, gravy, and breakfast meats were good. The biscuits were very small and dense and not very good. The hash brown casserole was refrigerator cold. The coffee was so weak it wasn't worth drinking. Fortunately, the waitress said she brewed a "double" strength pot which tasted like the coffee we usually get at Cracker Barrel. Other Cracker Barrels put an assortment of jellies and jams so you can choose which you prefer but here they brought two small packs for 4 small biscuits. Will not eat at this Cracker Barrel again anytime soon. But the store is very nice; bought a dress and two blouses after breakfast and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Came in last week with my wife as a pit stop. We enjoyed our food very nice breakfast portion sizes. Our waiter Justin was very nice and attentive to us even though he had another large family to tend too. If anything it can get pricey when you add on sides. But that's it.
I've always been fond of Cracker Barrel, but Sunday the 5th it took over 45 minutes to be seated. There were groups that were just as large as us being seated before us, and we had two small children that are getting very hungry and tired and an elderly person who also was getting very tired and hungry. I would not have minded any other day except for the fact that people that came in after us we're seated, even when it was near same size group...
We love the cracker barrel. We eat here 3 times a week. The servers are always friendly. The food is always good. During the hurricane issues. Free bottles of water. Love the cracker barrel. Thanks for the good food!
One of the best run Cracker Barrel restaurants we ever visit always satisfy always taking care of people are processed in a friendly courteous way and everything's always clean with large amounts of people coming through. And if it is not, clean it will be very quickly.
