Great staff, very caring! They helped my daughter greatly.
The treatment here is the best I have experienced . The staff is extremely good and helpful. I enjoyed the different treatment styles, yoga and dance therapy. The groups are helpful and provided me with a clear understanding of how to manage my eating disorder . They worked with my insurance and I could tell they genuinely cared. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Most of the staff is super great and I love all the different kinds of therapies they have (art, yoga, body image) great experience until I had group therapy with chris (one of the therapist) for someone in a very delicate state the last thing I think I needed was someone interrupting me with insults making me little myself even more. I didn't last 5 min in there before bursting out in tears and leaving. What kind of therapist says "you won't last a week here" calls people "junkies" and once i start crying announces "we got her to crack". Keep in mind it was my first full day. I came there for help not more criticism and to take away the little self esteem I had left. Then the supervisor, Val, called me back when I wanted to resolve this issue and continue treatment but was treated with very little respect. Both Val and Chris interrupt you when speaking. I told her the exact words he used but was told she heard differently and how grown women don't go crying to their parents after something happens. Very unprofessional and rude. Keep in mind I'm only 19 so I still live with my parents and they can obviously see if I'm coming home upset. After being treated like this, with no help or compassion, she was the one to discharge me then with a cold goodbye, hung up on me. Terrible place.
