Melanie is the first hair stylist who knew what my curls needed. I have never found anyone who has styled my hair curly. Don't get me wrong...there's been some sad attempts. They always want to straighten it. I normally ask them not to dry my hair because they don't have the slightest clue what to do. I'll walk out of the salon with wet hair and put my products on in the car. Yes! It's crazy. I've finally chosen to embrace my curls. I did some research and am thrilled that I found Melanie. My curls are so HAPPY!!! I got a curly Q cut. She paid detailed attention to each curl. It was the first time I EVER walked out of a salon with my hair fabulously curly!!! I'm so pleased with her Raw Curl Organic products. They're fabulous!!! I now know why curly girls often go straight. They can't find anyone who knows what to do with a fabulous head of curls. I've trusted Melanie with my curly hair for almost 6 years, and always get compliments. The cut brings out the best in my curls, and I feel great about having fewer harsh chemicals in the color than I'd find at other salons. Plus she developed her own line of curly hair care products that are healthy, smell FABULOUS, and work great on my hair. The salon is a beautiful little oasis where I always feel welcomed. Highly recommend!
Ultimately I went back to the products I'd been using previously and my hair looks great! Soft, curly, smooth and moisturized. No more frizz! My former products are much less expensive too, and are available on Amazon. I use:

I really wanted to love Raw Curls products. My loan broker went on and on about the product line. I was happy with the product I’d been using, but I thought if my hair could look better what the heck. Over a 4 month period I tried most of line: cleanser; conditioner; leave-in detangler; mousse/styling foam; and the fab frizz control smoothing mist. Before I purchased and used the product I watched the Raw Curls Product Demo Final Draft video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37Gd3uaRKyk. I tried defusing slightly, defusing more, and even air drying. Still frizz, and my hair got frizzier as the day went on. UGH! My hair became dry and was out of control frizzy (ugly) in the morning.
