We spent time having breakfast in the cafe - the pancakes and sausage w small coffee was just right but a little small for a big man. We shopped and hung out but four hours was a little long.
Had the bumper-to-bumper full detail done this morning ($199 - comparable to Calypso by Costco but with less of a two week wait for a reservation). It’s inportant to note that this type of full service takes between 3-4 hours with a reservation.

You won't get a better car washing!!! Our car is now cleaner than when we first picked it up from the dealership!!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful... You can't go wrong with St. Matthews House Car wash and detail center, not only do they do a fabulous job, you are helping out a wonderful program!!
This is not a zoom thru speedy soap and go. This is more than a car wash, This is a greeter occupied, full service, affordable, glad you supported the mission kind of experience. The staff is exceptional and accommodating. Spend a few minutes browsing in their store or sipping a latte while answering e-mails or texts. If you are so fortunate your life with be a little brighter when you leave, not just your car. I recommend the experience.
Today we experienced our first car wash at St. Matthew's House Car Wash and Detail Center. We chose their most full service package -- the "Bumper to Bumper" and are extremely happy with the results! First, it was easy to get an appointment, next drop-off was quick and efficient, and then when we picked it up, everything was detailed perfectly! They did a really meticulous job. Since it was raining when we picked it up, Richard gave us a coupon for a free full service wash. How nice and generous is that?! We really think they have great know-how, tools, and are up on the latest technology to make an auto sparkle. People, this is a really great business. It's really professional and done with great care and expertise. We plan to go back every other week for the Full Service Wash, every other month for The Works, and every 15 months for the Bumper to Bumper service. St. Matthew's house is our favorite charity to support and getting our vehicles washed there makes great sense because of that, but also because they do the best job in town. Did you know they also do Express Clay Service? Google it! We can't wait to get that done next time. Oh yes, one more thing... Bring some extra cash and visit the thrift store while your car is getting done. Today I did not plan enough time to shop but as I walked through the store to the cashier to pay for the car wash, a sweater caught my eye on the way in. So, on the way out I stopped to take a look. It was a brand new Banana Republic cardigan and it was in perfect, brand new condition. It was priced at a fraction of retail. Everything was so neat and clean in the thrift store. I'm not putting any thrift stores down, but St. Matthew's does not have that little thrift store smell that's not the best. No smell is what they have, so they are not trying to cover anything up with perfume either. Another plus: friendly people that are very kind work at St. Matthew's House.
And it supports people in our community!
I am a new mother with a full time job with little to no time to do things like wash my car or have a little"me time" like shopping or go out for a coffee. At St Matthews House you can do all of that in one trip! You don't even have to find a parking spot! Just drive up to the attendant, they take the car from there and give you a pager for when your car is finished; at which point you can go in and grab a coffee and browse around the boutique thrift store! I paid$19.99 for a full service wash and got my car back as clean as it was when I bought it... inside and out!!! I highly recommend the whole experience!!!
They did a STELLAR JOB inside - even got the spill out of the seat warmer switch! It was nice, even though it was 100F outside! Windows were crystal clear. There are. A LOT of windows in my vehicle. Also, afterward, they noticed I saw a smudge and asked if they could wipe it off for me to make sure I was satisfied. They asked me to inspect the rest so they could make sure I was pleased. The clay minimized a few scratches I had on my red car!
It didn’t take a week or two to get in like some of the Naples, Florida detailers. It just took a few days in the beginning of “season•.
